Thank you to all who were able to join Shared Harvest’s Spring Picnic on May 13!
While the weather was a bit cool, the rain held off and we had a wonderful time. We enjoyed connecting with shareholders from the founding of Shared Harvest, all the way up to several brand new members!
We shared delicious potluck picnic foods, played fun yard games, and took in the peaceful sights and sounds of prairie habitat maintained by the Unitarian Universalist Church of Elgin (UUCE).
One highlight for many was touring nearby McQueen Station Farm to learn about their farm co-op, see the grounds and meet the goats and chickens.
