Financial donations from the community help support our startup expenses and keep us moving toward our goal. We appreciate your commitment to our mission of being a cooperatively owned grocery in the heart of Elgin that links consumers to affordable, healthy, locally-produced food, fosters sustainable agriculture, and contributes to the economic and cultural vibrancy of the Elgin community.

Direct Donations (not tax-deductible)

Direct donations to Shared Harvest are NOT tax deductible. We have two ways to accept direct donations:

1. Mail a check to Shared Harvest, P.O. Box 884, Elgin, IL 60121. Be sure to include your current contact information.
2. Online payments via Square. Use the following form to submit a donation electronically. Please be aware that Square charges a transaction fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction.

Tax-Deductible Donations: Coming Soon

As of November 2024, we’re working to implement an arrangement with a non-profit fiscal sponsor in order to accept tax deductible donations. Check back soon for more info!
